Primary Duties:
1. “…to lead the devotional exercises of the Lodge…”
2. Opening and closing prayers, prayers during the degree work.
3. Open and close the Volume of the Sacred Law during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Lodge.
4. The doctrines of morality and virtue will form the appropriate lessons you are expected to communicate to the brethren.
5. The saying of Grace at all appropriate functions.
Secondary Duties:
A. Assist Deacons with setup and clean-up of Lodge paraphernalia.
B. Improve your familiarization with the By-Laws of Discovery Lodge, Book of Constitutions, Book of Forms and Ceremonies and the Lodge Officers Guide.
